However, if you engage in graphic-intensive work, you might opt for a 2K or 4K (UHD) display. While some argue that higher resolutions are superior, it's essential to note that they can come at a higher cost, and they may not always be necessary. In certain cases, users might adjust resolution settings to increase font size for better readability.
The previous article touched upon video inputs, emphasizing the importance of choosing a monitor with the latest or most widely used video input options. In today's IT landscape, HDMI and DisplayPort are considered the current standards.
Lastly, let's discuss the value of a monitor arm. While not everyone may consider purchasing one, many individuals are content with the monitor stand that comes bundled with their monitors. However, it's not uncommon to see users resorting to stacks of paper to elevate their screens. The ideal monitor height is with the top of the screen at or just below your eye level. A standard monitor stand may not offer the perfect height adjustment for your needs, and this is where a monitor arm can significantly enhance your setup. It provides greater flexibility in terms of height and angle adjustments, ultimately allowing you to create a more comfortable and ergonomic workspace.
